iOS Supported Devices:
Our iOS native app is coming soon.
Until then, you can use Oliver through your browser (Chrome recommended).
For the best setup, we recommend using an Oliver Cloud Printer, which will let you print receipts automatically (thereby disabling the print pop-up) and connect the cash drawer.

If you prefer to use a desktop printer, then you can use any printer that works with your browser print screen.
Browser based printing
Oliver works with any printer that works with your web browser. This include printing formats like A4, Letterhead, 58-90mm paper sizes. For the best printing experience, you have to choose the right paper size in the Oliver Management Hub. After setting the paper format, you can adjust the margins and configure other settings in your browser print settings.
We do not support built-in printers unless it is one of our certified devices (Oliver Elite).

Barcode Scanners
We work with all USB and bluetooth-enabled barcode scanners as long as they connect as an input device (HID) to your register device. That means Oliver works with 99.99% of all barcode scanners.
It is important to note that barcode scanners read barcodes in different ways, so you will have to set up your scanner to output the way you want it to. Most barcode scanners comes pre-programmed.
Oliver is compatible with all cash drawers using an RJ12 & RJ45 cable (phone cable), which accounts for the vast majority of cash drawers. Cash drawers usually work through the printer, so see if your printer has a port that is a little bit smaller than a network cable.
Please note that if your printer is not listed on this page, then this setup may not work. Some printers have a Windows or MacOS setup tool that allows you to set up the printer to automatically open the cash drawer when printing. If this is the case for your printer, then it should work in the Oliver register in browser mode.
Other HID Devices
Oliver listens to HID input devices like keyboards, scanners, etc. This means that you can use these devices to input into compatible fields like: Name, Email, Qty, etc.
Oliver currently does not support "Scale" product types.
If you have a special device that you would like to have working with Oliver, please contact us for a custom quote.
